After careful consideration, we have decided that in 2023 the JGL Foundation will change its mission. Since 2014, it has been our pleasure presenting grants for adaptive equipment and therapy to individuals with cerebral palsy. Thank you for sharing your stories with us and allowing us to help in some small way.
As of January 1, 2023, we will no longer be accepting applications for grants. All grants that were presented in 2022 will be honored. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out at firstname.lastname@example.org. And please check back to the website in the next year to find out about the new mission of the JGL Foundation.
Jennifer and Gregory Louie
The Jennifer and Gregory Louie Foundation a private foundation that was established to help both children and adults with cerebral palsy living in British Columbia, enhance their mobility, quality of life, and independence within their communities.
(1) To provide grants to individuals with cerebral palsy so they may receive services such as traditional physical and occupational therapy, aquatic therapy, and therapeutic horseback riding.
(2) To aid with funding for assistive technology such as orthotics, power wheelchairs, standers, gait trainers, specialized seating, adaptive bicycles/tricycles, and other devices/technology that enhance mobility and independence.
The JGL Foundation strives to support individuals with cerebral palsy and their families so they may focus on their everyday lives of attending school/work, playing/participating in recreational activities, and spending time with family and friends. It is our vision to provide funding for the assistive technology and therapy services individuals with cerebral palsy require when other means are exhausted or non-existent.
